Empowered Cancer Mindset Coaching & Advocacy

Supporting, Inspiring & Empowering Cancer Patients, Caregivers, Families & Survivors

When Cancer Changes Everything

A cancer diagnosis can change life in an instant. Suddenly, you may find yourself navigating medical decisions, uncertainty, fear, changing roles, relationships, work, family responsibilities, and a healthcare system that can feel overwhelming.

Cancer Mindset Coaching & Advocacy offers a place to sort through what is in front of you, reconnect with what remains within your control, and find your own way forward — one decision, one conversation, and one day at a time.

Reclaim Your Sense of Agency

Cancer can leave you feeling as though so much is happening to you. Coaching can help you identify where choice and agency still exist: how you care for yourself, communicate your needs, prepare for appointments, establish boundaries, make decisions, ask for support, and choose where to place your energy.

The goal isn’t to tell you how to think or insist that you “stay positive.” It’s to help you develop a mindset that is realistic, resilient, compassionate, and authentically your own.

Realistic Optimism Without Toxic Positivity

You do not have to be positive every day to be resilient. Fear, anger, grief, uncertainty and hope can coexist. Cancer mindset coaching creates room for the reality of what you are facing while helping you develop practical strategies for navigating uncertainty, focusing on what you can influence, and continuing to engage with the parts of life that matter most to you.

Hope doesn’t require denying reality. Sometimes it means finding possibility within it.

Healthcare Advocacy & Navigation

Complex healthcare experiences can be difficult to navigate, particularly when you’re exhausted, frightened, or facing important decisions. Advocacy support can help you prepare questions for healthcare appointments, organize information, clarify your priorities, communicate concerns, seek appropriate resources, and become a more confident participant in your own care.

Advocacy does not replace medical advice or make medical decisions for you. It helps you find your voice, understand your questions, and advocate for what matters to you.

Support Beyond Treatment

Finishing treatment doesn’t always mean life simply returns to “normal.” Survivorship can bring its own questions: fear of recurrence, changes in identity, relationships and priorities, rebuilding physical confidence, returning to work, and wondering what comes next.

Coaching can provide support as you process what you’ve been through, reconnect with yourself, clarify what matters now, and begin intentionally shaping the chapter ahead.

Support for Families & Caregivers

Cancer rarely affects only one person. Partners, caregivers and family members may also be navigating uncertainty, changing responsibilities, difficult conversations, advocacy demands and the emotional weight of supporting someone they love.

Coaching offers practical support for navigating these challenges while also making room for your own needs, boundaries, well-being and resilience.

✦ Who it’s for

Lived Experience Meets Professional Experience

My work in cancer coaching and advocacy is deeply personal. I understand what it is like for life to change with a diagnosis, to navigate complex healthcare systems, to live with profound uncertainty, and to rebuild when the future looks very different from the one you imagined.

That lived experience is complemented by my professional background in healthcare, health and resilience coaching, counselling psychology, and years of work helping people navigate adversity.

I won’t tell you that I know exactly how you feel. Every cancer experience is different. But I can meet you with compassion, perspective, practical tools, and an understanding of just how much can exist behind the words, “You have cancer.”

✦ Diagnosis

You Are More Than Your Diagnosis

Cancer may become part of your story, but it does not have to become the entirety of who you are. Whether you are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, living with cancer, entering survivorship, caring for someone you love, or trying to find your footing after everything has changed, you don’t have to navigate every part of the experience alone. Wherever you are in your cancer story, let’s explore what it means to rise from here.
