By using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. This website is operated by Rise Today Consulting, 200–1200 Lonsdale Avenue, North Vancouver, British Columbia, V7M 2E8, Canada.

2. What Rise Today provides

Rise Today Consulting provides resilience keynote speaking, health coaching for individuals and organizations, group programs, and community initiatives including the Rise Today Inspirational Podcast, events such as the Health and Happiness Summit, and support for families impacted by cancer.

Online therapy is not provided by Rise Today Consulting. It is provided by Rising Minds Counselling and Psychotherapy, a separate practice, and is available only to residents of British Columbia and Ontario. That practice has its own intake process, professional obligations and terms.

3. Coaching is not therapy or medical advice

Health coaching with Rise Today is forward-focused empowerment. It is not therapy or mental health treatment, and it is not medical, psychological, psychiatric, nutritional or legal advice.

The articles, podcast episodes, videos, talks and other material on this site are published for general information and encouragement. They are not a substitute for care from a qualified professional who knows your situation. Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any question about a medical or mental-health condition, and never disregard or delay professional advice because of something you read, watched or heard here.

Coaching outcomes depend on many factors, including your own participation. Nothing on this site is a promise or guarantee of any particular result, recovery or outcome.

4. About the “Dr” title

Dr. Erica’s “Dr” title refers to her Doctoral Degree in Chiropractic. It does not indicate doctoral-level training in psychology or psychiatry.

5. Bookings and programs

Consultations, coaching sessions, speaking engagements and program places are arranged directly with us or through the scheduling platform linked from this website. The specific terms for any engagement — including fees, scheduling, cancellation and any refund arrangements — are those confirmed with you in writing at the time of booking, and those terms govern the engagement.

Program dates, formats and availability may change. Where a session or event cannot go ahead as planned, we will contact you to reschedule or to discuss the options available.

6. This is not an emergency service

This website is not monitored around the clock, and a message sent through it may not be read immediately. Do not use this site, its forms, or any social media channel to seek help in an emergency.

7. Content and intellectual property

All content, branding and materials on this website — including text, talks, recordings, photographs, program names and the Rise Today identity — belong to Rise Today Consulting or are used with permission, and may not be reproduced, republished or used commercially without our written permission.

You are welcome to share links to our pages, quote us with attribution, and use our free material for your own personal, non-commercial use.

If you send us a story, a question or other material through this site, we will treat it as confidential unless you tell us otherwise. We will not publish anything identifiable about you without asking you first.

8. Third-party links

This site links to other organisations — donor registries, partner initiatives, news coverage, our scheduling platform and social media. We do not control those sites, and we are not responsible for their content, availability or practices. Their terms and privacy policies apply when you use them.

9. Limitation of liability

This website and its content are provided on an “as is” basis. We take care to keep the information accurate and current, but we do not warrant that it is complete, free of error, or uninterrupted.
